L'uscita dell'attesissimo Lord Steppington, disco d'esordio ufficiale per il duo Step Brothers - formato da The Alchemist e Evidence - si avvicina sempre più: il 19 Novembre 2013 è la data, e finalmente sono note anche la lista delle tracce ed i relativi artisti presenti. In totale troviamo 14 tracce, le collaborazioni sono quelle di Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Blu, Styles P, Domo Genesis (OFWGKTA), Fashawn, Oh No, The Whooliganz e Rakaa (Dilated Peoples). Di seguito la tracklist, quella che vedete qui sopra è la copertina del progetto, fuori per la Rhymesayers (stessa label che ha curato l'uscita di Cats & Dogs). Niente da aggiungere, semplicemente iniziate ad allacciare le cinture!

The release of the looong awaited Lord Steppington, the official debut album of Step Brothers duo - formed by The Alchemist e Evidence - is approaching: November, the 19th is the date, and finally are also available tracklist and featured artists. Totally we've 14 tracks, the participants are Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Blu, Styles P, Domo Genesis (OFWGKTA), Fashawn, Oh No, The Whooliganz and Rakaa (Dilated Peoples). Below you can find the tracklist and in the upper part of this article also the artwork. Album supported by Rhymesayers, the same label that published Evidence's Cats & Dogs. Luca Barcellona aka Lord Bean X Groovisionary - Intervista

L'appuntamento con al rubrica settimanale "Back to the origins" è dedicato a "Le gang nel Bronx" . Check it! In questo articolo ho scelto di parlare delle gang che caratterizzarono la storia del Bronx , vista la forte influenza che questa fase ebbe in seguito sulla cultura Hip Hop, sui messaggi e sui sentimenti che portarono alla creazione di questo movimento . La storia delle gang è breve , ma molto dura e violenta : orientativamente dal 1968 al 1973 il Bronx, famoso distretto di New York, fu invaso da questo fenomeno, definito da u.net (nel suo libro "Renegades of funk" ) come: "L'avanguardia dell'anarchia che avrebbe dominato l'area del Bronx negli anni a venire" . Solo il termine anarchia è così efficace da poter riassumere le azioni e le conseguenze delle guerriglie tra le gang: ognuna di queste era identificata in base al colore delle giacche e delle toppe cucitevi sopra , ognuna "possedeva" un proprio terri...
